Foxy Lady

Check out our backyard intruder. At first I thought it was racoon, but it is a FOX! He was creeping around sniffing everything. Needless to say, Emily and I did not play outside today.

Quite the dilemma...

Here is a funny video of Emiliy a few weeks ago. She had just woken up from her nap and still had her pacifier in her mouth, yet she wanted to eat some goldfish. She didn't quite understand that she needed to take the pacifier out in order to eat...

Emily and Izzy

Emily has a few things to learn ...
  • Don't pull a dog's tail

  • Don't pick on someone bigger than you

  • No matter how cute you are with the dog, your parents are never going to buy you one

This picture does not really do Izzy (Sharon and Chestin's dog) justice. She is a a very big dog, but Emily loved her. She would not take her eyes off her, laughed at everything Izzy did and even cryed when Izzy went out for a walk. I was amazed that Emily never got scared or freaked out by Izzy sniffing her.

Stinky

Now that I have started a blog, I realize our life is lacking in blog worthy events. Not that our life is boring just pretty routine. My day is filled with working from home, changing diapers, cleaning the house, running errands, play dates and changing more diapers. Speaking of diapers, right now, we are in Charlotte staying at a hotel while Andy attends a review class for his Series 24 license. I have 3 stinky diapers in room with me and don't know where to dispose them. I am thinking it is pretty rude to throw them in the hallway trash can. Hopefully, housekeeping will come soon, but then it is probably rude to make her carry them around. Oh well. It is amazing the stink that can come out of a cute little girl!

The First Post

Welcome to our blog!

We have decided to jump on the blog bandwagon. Well, actually I have decided. I am pretty sure Andy won't be on here blogging any time soon. Either way, hopefully we will be able to keep everyone up to date on little Emily and our lives.
