How do I always get so far behind in my blog posts??! It must have something to do with Emily no longer taking naps, my part time job (which has required full time hours lately) or my new responsibility as teaching the adult Sunday School class every week, all while still trying to keep up with the everyday cooking, cleaning and errands. I am just tired thinking about it!
Regardless, here are a some cute pictures of our day trip to Wrightesville Beach.... weeks ago. It was a spontaneous decision, so we didn't leave until 12. But it turned out to be a great little escape. The drive was only 2 hours and we just hung out on the beach and in the water and then we got dinner and headed home. Wonderful day!
Emily spent the whole time in the water this time. We brought along a little wading pool to keep Sarah entertained, but she still just wanted to eat the sand!
Sarah didn't really enjoy the water. She got a little tired and just wanted me to hold her. But it wasn't too bad because she just sat with me while I read my book.

How fun! I'm glad to finally see some evidence that you were there. :) Beautiful pictures, you are getting really good with your spiffy camera. :) The picture of You holding Sarah is so sweet. I better see you before I leave on Thursday!
