Easter Egg Hunt #1

Last weekend we met Andy's family at a park in Salisbury. We met my dad on the way there and took Layni along with us. We had lunch and then walked around the park. They had a HUGE playground, barnyard animals, carousel and train. We never made it on the train, but the girls loved the carousel.

Sarah and her cousin Maverick

After the park, Andy's parents had hidden some eggs so the kids could have an Easter egg hunt.
Sarah quickly found out there was candy in the eggs and didn't really want to go hunting for eggs, she just wanted to stop and open each one and eat the candy.

After all that, we took Layni home and had a nice steak dinner with my dad. It is interesting to watch Emily and Layni. They tend to act a lot like sisters. They tend to bug each other and tattle tell on each other, but still love each other!

Jumpin' Beans

I just realized I posted these pictures without any words a few days ago... oops!
A few weeks ago we went to Jumpin' Beans with our joyschool group. We had a lot of fun until Emily got upset about something. I don't think anything really happened. I think she just got overwhelmed with all the noise and kids jumping. She was crying pretty hard and then as soon as we got in the car, everything was just fine. She is chit chatty and happy again.
Sarah and I had fun hanging out in the corner the whole time.

Welcome Spring!

To celebrate Spring's arrival, we had a nice picnic lunch followed by bubbles, chalk and bikes!

Despite her wonderful attempt, Sarah couldn't quite blow a bubble. But she does look cute trying, even with her messy face!

Our Princess!

2 girls

A few weekends ago, the girls and I rode over to the temple with my mom. The girls and I had a picnic lunch at a park, ran into Target and then took a few pictures while waiting for Nana in the temple.

Happy little Sarah...

and Emily, who is a full range of emotions...

Emily was in serious need of a haircut in these pictures. Thankfully she has gotten one recently.

Bowling

I took the girls bowling with a few friends recently. It was quite an adventure! Surprisingly we managed to finish all 10 frames and only had about 3 balls that never made it down the lane. Oh goodness!

When we got there, Lily and Emily were cheering for a group of old people everytime a ball went down the lane. Hopefully, they found it cute and not super annoying. :)

I love these pics of Emily. She was so excited to get started, however she quickly lost interest.

And look at these studly boys... Malcom (on the right) was so proud of his SPARE!

Afterwards, we went into the game room so the kids could play some games. They had this train ride that Emily wanted to do. But as you can see from her face.... she did NOT like it! Way too loud! (Is it bad that I took a picture of her instead of helping her??!) Luckily, my girls are complete opposites, so I just took Emily off and put Sarah on the ride.... and she loved it!

Sarah liked playing the games and once Emily recovered from the traumatic train ride, she liked the slide.

I love Oreos...

...Oreo Cakesters to be exact!
