We went back for a check up today. And things have progressed. I am now 2-3 cm dilated, 90% effaced and 0 station. Whew! This baby is coming.... but we just don't know when!!! The annoying part (besides waiting) is that I may have cholestasis again. For those that don't know, I had some liver issue during the last pregancy that causes annoying itching ALL OVER. Right now it is no where near as frustrating as it was with Emily. So today they went ahead and did a blood test to determine if I do (I could just be paranoid) and had me do a non stress test. However during the test I was having a couple of contractions. The doctor wasn't too concerned and said they were probably just coming because of the exam and would slow down... which they have. He told me to continue to take it easy for the rest of the week. I asked him to clarify what he meant exactly. He just said "No Target!" How does he know I go there every day??
Each day this little baby is getting bigger and healthier so I am glad she is staying put, but I am also in constant worry that I am going into labor anytime I feel a slight contraction. Of course, I know every pregnant women has gone through this anxious waiting period. Not fun!
My mom was back in town today since she had the day off. Her and Emily are getting to be good buddies. Mom gave Emily and I pedicures/manicures. She thinks it is important to have cute toes while in labor. She also went to the grocery store for me (since I can't go to Target), which was a big help. Thanks mom... again.

You poor thing...no Target?!?! I know it has been a relief to have your mom in town. It sound like she is taking great care of you and Emily. I know you are lovin' it! Glad you guys got to go to the fair this year. We took a trip to the fair hoping all the walking and food would put me into labor, last year. It was not much help:(
You look so cute with your tiny, pregnant, basketball belly. Glad to see you wearing the turtlenecks I sent (I KNOW how you LOVE a turtleneck - HA). I know the "waiting game" stinks, but I do hope she will stay put for at least another week, but then come before Thanksgiving so we can snuggle her. Love ya!
Wow, Sarah is going to be here before you know it! And I can't wait! No Target, what is up with that?! Doesn't the doctor know that Target is where we like to go on a weekly basis?! You really look great though. I met your mom at the Trunk or Treat, she was so sweet! Anyway, I will give you a call soon to check in on you.
that's funny that the doctor said "no target" Christian tells me that every day too!
I'm glad things are still going well on the home front!
